Denver weather: Temperatures return to the 90s on Tuesday

After a relative cooldown Monday, those living along the Front Range can expect especially hot temperatures starting Tuesday and into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday’s forecast calls for a high of about 91 with a 30% chance of thunderstorms, mainly between 3 and 4 p.m.

An overnight low of 63 degrees is expected amid partly cloudy conditions and winds that may gust up to 15 mph.

Wednesday’s high is expected to reach 97, which would make it the hottest day of the week.

Rain is possible after noon and before midnight, though chances are slim at only 20%.

An overnight low of 67 is expected.

As of now, the National Weather Service forecasts highs of 96 degrees with a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms for both Thursday and Friday.

Temperatures are expected to dip on Saturday with an anticipated high of 93.
