
Denver weather: Partly cloudy Sunday, then chance of storms
Denver will see partly sunny skies ahead of a chance of afternoon thunderstorms Sunday.
Residents can expect high temperatures around 90 degrees and will see a 40% chance of thunderstorms and rain after 1 p.m., according to the National Weather Service at Boulder. The chance of storms diminishes after 8 p.m.
If you’re grilling out, you may want to tie down the tablecloths and anchor those paper plates — it’ll be a windy afternoon with gusts topping 20 mph, according to the weather service.
Weather on Monday will be similar, with a high temperature around 91 degrees and a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon.
