
Denver weather: High heat forecast for the weekend
The Front Range will be feeling hot, hot, hot on Saturday as days of blistering temperatures are in the forecast.
The high is expected to reach 92 degrees on Saturday with temperatures climbing higher over the next few days. Monday’s high is forecast at 100 degrees, according to the National Weather Service’s Boulder office.
On Saturday, there will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. It also will be breezy with west winds blowing six to 15 mph, the weather service said. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.
The chance of thunder showers should stick around through Saturday evening. Overnight, it will be mostly clear with a low of 64.
Sunday will bring more heat with a forecasted high of 97.
