Denver police find body in East Iliff Avenue home in suspected homicide

The body of a man was discovered by Denver police Thursday night in a home on East Iliff Avenue in what investigators believe is a homicide.

Denver police were called to to the 9700 block of East Iliff Avenue, officials said on Twitter around 10 p.m. Thursday. Police had received information that someone had died inside the residence, the Denver Police Department said.

Upon arrival, officers removed the remaining occupants of the home and searched the area, discovering a deceased adult male inside the home, police said.

Denver police said “the victim’s death appears to be a homicide.”

No further information was available. The medical examiner’s office will provide the victim’s identity and and cause of death.
